As a child, The 27 was paid $40 to sing a song on the radio for a dental clinic. His athletic career peaked senior year of high school when he was named all-state in football in Florida along with such current NFL luminaries as Travis Henry and Paul Edinger. Since then, his ligaments have failed him (two torn ACLs; two torn shoulders) and he is losing hair at an alarming rate. He is currently a lawyer in Florida and is firmly convinced that Clay would score less than 10 points if he played every minute of every game of an NBA season.
